The house is a mess, it's driving me crazy. I decided to postpone work until Monday. I know, I'm procrastinating. I've gotten so used to not working.

The dog woke me up at 1:30 with her barking. Then my sister woke me up again at 7:30 when she was making pancakes. We hardly ever make pancakes at this house, so it was kind of odd.

I watched the Democratic National Convention last night. John Kerry gave a pretty good speech. I'm so liberal, I don't need to be won over by a speech, though. I wonder if speeches really have much power to influence people's votes. I'm guessing not. Jay Leno's monologues probably have more influence than any campaign speech.
