I spent today at my mom's house, as usual. I talked and laughed with my aunt who is staying at the house for awhile. I think that she is the most giving person I know- she really knows how to take care of people. We watched the football games on TV, then the Golden Globes, and my mom's friends came over for awhile, too, so I talked with them some. I won't pretend that this is my ideal social life, but it's nice to feel loved and accepted, and to have other human beings around, and to talk. It makes me feel like a warm-blooded human being and reminds me that "You are never alone." It feels that way sometimes, but we are all bound together by our common humanity.
