Today it just feels good to spend some time at home, doing chores and helping my mom. I spent two hours volunteering at a nursing home this morning. And yesterday I went to see the Nutcracker with my grandma. I guess I've been trying to get out of my "comfort zone." It gets really old being at home all the time. But there's something comforting about being at home on a cold wintery day like this and having a nice bowl of chicken soup. I feel like everything is going to work out all right in my life. Everything is so warm and secure. Maybe it's all just an illusion, but still, it's nice to feel protected, at least for one day out of my life.

It is Thursday morning. The sun is shining today! I have a computer final to take today and I'm starting to get nervous. But after that, I'm off for winter vacation. I'm still not having any success finding a job. Why is it so darn hard to get a job, even a really menial one? Still, I will keep trying.

I got caught in a rainstorm today. Rain is so refreshing. But it's also cold and wet and I got drenched. Winter weather really gets me down. I took my English final today. It was easy. That's all for now.

Hello world. This is my first post. Now the whole world can know what I am thinking. Isn't that a scary thought? Not that anyone would be that interested in my own mundane life. But here it is.
